Being a team of multi-disciplinary engineers, IFAS offers services in failure and damage analysis, error prevention and in-development assistance. IFAS is independent and neutral (accredited after DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025) and offers a combination of tests, analyses and consulting services.

Micreon GmbH is a prestigious contract manufacturer and technology consultant for micromachining with femtosecond lasers. Micreon develops, manufactures and finishes components for medical technology, electronics, the pharmaceutical industry, toolmakers and automobile manufacturers.
The company was founded in 2004 as a spin-off from the IVAM member Laser Zentrum Hannover (LZH) and received several awards for its innovative methods of micromachining of various materials with ultrashort pulse lasers, like start2grow, Carl Zeiss Preiss, "Lighthouse" competition and the cooperation award of the state of Lower Saxony.
