he IVAM Annual Meeting 2011 will take place in Dortmund again.

Early evening program: Guided tour and dinner
IVAM offers the opportunity for networking with North-Rhine Westphalian culture to everybody who already arrives on Sunday, Mach 13th:
All IVAM and Pro Ruhrgebiet members are invited to a guided tour through the former Dortmunder Union brewery building known as “Dortmunder U”. In connection with this event, IVAM has made a reservation for dinner in the U-tower (cost of sales base) with its impressive atmosphere.

Workshops for IVAM members:
Before the start of the official annual meeting program, IVAM organizes workshops exclusively for all its members. In the morning of March 14th, the relevant topics “medical technologies”, “energy harvesting” and “education” will be addressed in discussions with experts and technologists.

The Annual Meeting
The IVAM Annual Meeting itself will take place on March 14th in close location to the “Dortmunder U”, in the Harenberg City Center (HCC). The meeting will start after the morning workshops and lunch. Program points will include the report of the board of directors on the expired business year, an outlook on 2011, discussions and formalities.

The evening event is supported by Pro Ruhrgebiet. All members, partners and guests are invited to join the evening entertainment program including:

The awarding of the 2011 marketing price to an IVAM-member. The three finalists and their innovative marketing ideas will be introduced and the winner will be chosen in the course of the evening. Please klick here for more information.

An evening presentation by the popular German journalist Dr. Hajo Schumacher who has already worked for renowned German press organs like Spiegel, Süddeutsche Zeitung and the tv station N24. His presentation “Kopf hoch Deutschland!” („Cheer Up, Germany!“) will be held in German language.
