The session “Precision, Photonics & Optics: Innovations for Medical Applications” on March 19, 2026 is jointly organized by the IVAM Focus Group Photonics and the Focus Group Medical. 

We invite you to discover innovations and real-world solutions at the intersection of photonics, optics, precision engineering and medical technology, fostering targeted interdisciplinary exchange.

The session will feature technical, application-driven presentations, covering topics such as:

• optical and photonic systems for medical applications
• precision components, sensors and imaging technologies

• enabling technologies for diagnostics, therapy and medical devices
