Europe meets North America: Connecting High-Tech for Medical Devices

International expert meeting of European and North American high-tech companies. On November 18, 2026, IVAM Microtechnology Network will organize the session “Europe meets North America: Connecting High-Tech for Medical Devices” as part of the COMPAMED HIGH-TECH FORUM by IVAM during COMPAMED/MEDICA 2026, in cooperation with Messe Düsseldorf North America.

The event brings together companies, research institutions and industry experts from Europe and North America and provides a platform for international exchange on innovative technologies and current developments in medical technology.

The session focuses on promoting collaboration between component manufacturers, device manufacturers, technology developers and users from Europe and North America, including the USA and Canada, as well as initiating joint R&D projects. In addition, the session offers the opportunity to exchange experiences regarding the challenges and opportunities of the respective markets.

Focus of the event: High-tech for medical technology

Innovative products and new technologies will be presented, and current issues in modern medical technology will be discussed during technical presentations and panel discussions. Topics include:

  • international market requirements,
  • technological innovations,
  • and how European and North American companies can cooperate to strengthen their global competitiveness.

Target audience of the event: 

The event is aimed at medical technology companies and research institutions along the entire value chain — from technology developers and component manufacturers to software, testing and analytics companies, as well as medical device manufacturers and users.

Trade show visitors can participate at the event ''Europe meets North America'' free of charge.
