IVAM Focus Group Microfluidic

9. Meeting: Scale, Microfluidic and Modelling
Aug 19, 2021, 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Zoom video conference

The 9. digital meeting of the IVAM Microfluidics Specialist Group will take place on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. (CEST).

In the first part, Prof. Ulrich Krühne from the Technical University of Denmark will present the problem of scaling up microfluidics in the field of biotechnology and describe what can be done to support companies in scaling up, based on a technical presentation on "Scale, Microfluidics and Modelling". In addition, Ms Anne Kaaden from Ehrfeld Mikrotechnik will talk about upscaling in chemical engineering in her presentation "Miprowa Technology - Rapid Scale-up from Lab to Production". This will provide a basis for discussion on opportunities and trend directions for companies in microfluidics. In addition to the presentation, the discussion will provide networking opportunities to support knowledge and experience sharing.

In the second part of the meeting, further activities of the specialist group will be coordinated.

Registration for IVAM members

The necessary dial-in data for the Zoom video conference will be sent out shortly before the event!
