IVAM Focus Group Photonics

The fourth digital meeting of the IVAM Focus Group Photonics will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm (CEST).

Discuss with other IVAM members about new photonic developments and applications in the automotive industry.

In the first part, Jin Wang from Scantinel and Dr. Stephan Gronenborn from Trumpf will give technical presentations on "Photonic in the automotive industry". Jin Wang will discuss Scantinel's unique FMCW LiDAR on chip solution in his talk on "Photonic Integrated FMCW LiDAR Paves the Way for Autonomous Mobility". Dr. Gronenborn will talk about "VCSELs for 3D sensing and LiDAR applications".This will provide a basis for discussion on opportunities and trend directions for photonics companies. In addition to the presentation, the discussion round will provide the opportunity for networking and the exchange of knowledge and experience.

In the second part of the meeting, further activities of the focus group will be coordinated.

Participation in IVAM Focus Group meetings is free of charge for association members. Non-members may attend three times. In this case, we charge an administrative fee of € 50.00 (plus VAT), which is also due in case of non-participation. Of course, it is possible to nominate a substitute participant at any time and without additional costs.
