W3+ Fair 2023

On March 29 + 30, 2023 the W3+ Fair, networking fair for optics, microtechnology and precision engineering will take place for the nineth time in the optics hub of Wetzlar.

In July 2022, the eighth network event for high-tech experts from optics, electronics and mechanics took place. Over 125 exhibitors from 11 countries met more than 1500 visitors at the W3+ Fair in the Buderus Arena and exchanged ideas about the latest technological developments. Well-known companies such as Zeiss, OptoTech, Bruker, Trioptics were represented in 2022. 

Special exhibition area “Microtechnologies for Optical Devices” and trade fair forum

The IVAM Microtechnology Network will again be a part of the W3+ Fair with a joint booth in the special exhibition area “Microtechnologies for Optical Devices” in 2023. IVAM wants to present what microtechnology has to offer in and for the field of optics and photonics.

At the accompanying specialist forum “en-tech.talks” exhibitors of the IVAM joint booth have the opportunity to present their know-how in areas such as New Technologies, Business Opportunities, Industrie 4.0 and Applications.

Focus Group Photonic Meeting on March 29, 2023

Within the framework of the W3 in Wetzlar, a meeting of the Focus Group Photonic will take place on March 29, 2023. Among other things, there will be an IVAM lecture slot on the topic of Photonics & Microtechnology from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. (CEST). Speakers are Dr. Andreas Voelker (CSEM), Stephan Suckow (AMO), Dr. Christoph Zellweger (IMT) and Dr. Wolfgang Huber (Chips4Light).
