IVAM highlighted Industry 4.0 and nanotechnology trends at HANNOVER MESSE

Apr 29, 2015
At this year’s HANNOVER MESSE, the IVAM Product Market "Micro, Nano & Materials" highlighted microtechnology solutions for Industry 4.0 and nanotechnology trends. The exhibitors of the joint booth considered the exhibition a success.

IVAM’s Managing Director Dr. Thomas R. Dietrich draws a positive conclusion: "Our exhibitors were quite satisfied with the quality of the inquiries and leads this year. Taking part in HANNOVER MESSE has been really worthwhile for the companies and institutions.” According to the organizers Deutsche Messe, more than 220,000 visitors took the opportunity to get informed about new technologies and make investments. Approximately 70.000 visitors came from abroad.

At the joint booth of the IVAM Microtechnology Network in hall 3, companies and institutes presented innovations that make it possible to greatly increase the efficiency and speed of industrial processes, enhance the reliability and quality of industry products while at the same time reducing cost. High-precision micro solutions play an important role in industrial automation – a central key aspect of industry 4.0 and the main topic of this year's HANNOVER MESSE: “integrated Industry".

Another focus in Halls 2 and 3 was on nanotechnology: nanomaterial manufacturing by the company DUROPAN, materials processing by LIMO Lissotschenko Mikrooptik GmbH and surface metrology by Nanofocus AG were topics at the IVAM Product Market. The initiative Nano-in-Germany founded an association during the trade show, of which IVAM is one of the founding members.
In 2016, the IVAM Product Market will be located within the area "Industrial Supply", which displays cross-cutting issues along the industrial value chain. The next HANNOVER MESSE will open its doors from April, 25 to 29, 2016. Information on the possibilities to exhibit at the IVAM Product Market are available from b2b@ivam.de.
