HOSPITALAR in São Paulo - Business opportunities for medical device manufacturers

From May 19 to 22, 2015, Brazil’s São Paulo will once again be host to HOSPITALAR. Latin America’s largest and most significant trade fair for medical technology expects 1,250 international exhibitors. In 2014, it greeted 91,000 visitors from 63 countries.

Roughly 60 conferences, forums and congresses will be held alongside the trade fair to inform visitors and showcase exhibitors. 2015 will see close cooperation between HOSPITALAR and MEDICA/COMPAMED, resulting in a new area that gathers all component manufacturers in one space and parallels the environment at COMPAMED.

For the first time at the coming HOSPITALAR, the IVAM Microtechnology Network will offer a joint booth in the direct vicinity to the component manufacturers and assist companies in opening up the Brazilian market. The conditions are favorable for German medical technology enterprises to consider opening operations in Brazil. To make starting out in Brazil easier, IVAM will offer a full-service-package. Exhibiting companies will have the opportunity to present their products and services at the co-located forums.

Additionally, delegation visitis and business matchings in cooperation are planned over the entire trade fair duration. The activities will be accompanied by the German-Brazilian Chamber of Foreign Trade. The trade fair itself will offer ample opportunity to network and discover the country and its people.
