“Energy Harvesting” attracts many visitors - The HANNOVER MESSE proves again its international dimension

For the exhibitors of the IVAM product market “Micro, Nano, Materials” at the HANNOVER MESSE the participation was more than worthwhile this year. “The HANNOVER MESSE has once again proved its international weight. After the half period of the trade fair our exhibitors were already very satisfied with their contacts,” tells Dr. Uwe Kleinkes, CEO of the IVAM Microtechnology Network. Dr. Wolfgang Beck, CEO of Duropan confirms this statement: “We could establish fantastic contacts“.

The organizers of the HANNOVER MESSE report the best results for the last 10 years and they are especially pleased with the high number of international visitors: approximately 60 000 visitors of 230 000 came from abroad.

The high rate of foreign visitors made also a positive impression at the Product Market “Micro, Nano, Materials”. At the joint pavilion of the IVAM Microtechnology
Network 45 companies and institutes presented high-tech innovations in the field of micro and nano technologies. In particular the extra demonstration area “Energy Harvesting”,  which was organized jointly with HSG-IMIT, attracted great attention of the expert audience.

For the first time in the scope of the industry forum “Innovations for Industry” a US-MEMS Day, a special day for the American micro system technology, took place. Around 200 visitors listened to the presentations and obtained information at the subsequent networking about the distribution facilities on the American market.
