Diener electronic, manufacturer of low pressure plasma systems, atmospheric plasma systems and HF generators, has conceived the atmospheric system type PlasmaBeam for surface pre-treatment of different materials. It cleans and activates the surface by a moving plasma nozzle. The technology is often used before painting, printing, bonding, welding, or gluing.

It is possible to use the PlasmaBeam with robots, and it can be installed in existing fully-automated manufacturing lines easily. The PC version of PlasmaBeam is manufactured for applications with high requirements to the process regulation and documentation. Both versions are variably applicable. The nozzle can treat between eight and twelve millimeters of the surface depending on the distance from nozzle to surface.
