In the European high-tech industry there is above all a shortage of specialists with academic and technical skills for product development and R&D. 86% of companies in the microtechnology, nanotechnology and advanced materials industry who feel the skills shortage are looking for people with such skills. But the shortage also affects areas like project management, production and sales.
