The new micropump mp6 from Bartels Mikrotechnik is now available. Based on the established piezo electric diaphragm technology of the mp5, the attention during the development of the new micropump generation was directed on improved pressure behaviour and an automated production process for high-quantity applications.

The double actuator system is the smallest fully automated produced piezoelectric diaphragm pump made from plastic on the market. With a size of 30 x 15 x 3.8 mm³ the pump reaches a back pressure of 550 mbar for pumping water. A maximum flow rate of 6 ml/min can be achieved. Additional to liquids with different viscosities the delivery of gases or mixtures of liquids and gases is possible. Due to adaptation of the design only one material is in contact with the pumped media; therefore the chemical resistance is improved and the field of applications is broadened.

“Customers should convince themselves of the benefits of the mp6, like the improved gas bubble tolerance and self-priming behaviour”, advises product manager Severin Dahms, “Due to my present experience in customer-specific requirements, I can say that the mp6 offers the right solution for many applications in different branches.” Further information is available on the recently relaunched homepage of Bartels Mikrotechnik.
